When you choose the New River Inn Museum of History as the venue for your event, you are selecting the most unique urban oasis in Fort Lauderdale. Nestled in the heart of Riverwalk Park, the New River Inn Museum of History provides your guests with a charming atmosphere that includes breathtaking views of the New River. The New River Inn Museum of History, built in 1905, is Broward County’s oldest remaining hotel building. Constructed for owner Philemon Bryan, the hotel, which operated until 1955, featured 24 guest rooms, a dining room and was lit with carbide lamps. This 1905 hotel was the first property in Broward County to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Lucy Bryan Room: Charming room that can accommodate up to 50 seated guests
The Parlor: Private room used as a bridal suite
The Veranda: Picture perfect backdrop for all your photos and a quite area for guests to relax on the rocking chairs
The Front Lawn: accommodates up to 100 guests
The Back Lawn: accommodates up to 150 guests

This graceful Southern Plantation allows you to party with friends and family until 11 PM!

Rental Details:

Below rates are based on a 5 hour event + 3 hours for set up and breakdown. Rental hours are between 4 PM – 11 PM.

  • $2100 – based on up to 100 people
  • $2500 – based on up to 150 people
  • $2900 – based on up to 200 people
